Carcass is a band from Liverpool, Inglterra, who innovated in different subgenres of metal. They are considered the fathers of "Goregrind" one of the genera most extreme in the music and lyrics. It was one of the bands that participated shaping the Death Metal for the emergence of this genre in the early 90's. They were also one of the pioneering bands in the genre Melodic Death Metal.
